This is pretty cool. NASA just released a simulated flyover of dwarf planet Ceres, using composite imagery from the NASA Dawn probe with a bit of color enhancement. They even added some pleasant, adventuresome music to enhance the experience:
I wrote a short story a few years ago set on Ceres, and it would have been awesome to incorporate some of the amazing details we’re learning about this tiny world right now. The story was published in the online magazine Residential Aliens, which, unfortunately, no longer exists. I may include it in a future anthology, should I have the opportunity.
