2010 Clive Staples Award Nominee–The Muse

My novel, The Muse, is featured today in the parade of nominees for the Clive Staples Award for Christian Spec Fic. Check out the full list of nominees here. I’m proud to have my book in such fine company.

Voting begins in August, and if you’ve read at least two books on the list, you’re eligible to vote. It’s another great way to support quality Christian fiction.

You can find more information about The Muse under the tab above labeled, appropriately, The Muse, and at the Splashdown Books website. It was a fun story to write. What began as a simple little tale about a frustrated writer looking for his muse, who gets a lot more than he bargained for when he actually finds it, grew into an extended meditation on the nature of inspiration and creativity, seasoned with adventure, romance, and humor. It’s a paranormal thriller, it’s a love story, it’s a light urban fantasy, and people are telling me it’s a good read, which is the category that matters most.

If you’d like to read it yourself, it’s available for online order via Amazon, Barnes&Noble, or directly from Splashdown Books.
