September’s been a very busy and productive month, though not very active with regard to new story submissions. Pre-orders opened for my first novel, The Muse, scheduled for release November 1. Two of my short stories, “Weightless” and “Prison Dreams,” were published, and one more was sold. I also completed a Kinetic Novel adaptation of my short story, “A Taste of Honey,” and posted it for free download. All that, and I’m in the middle of writing the first draft of my second novel. October looks to be another active month with two more short stories, “One Smile at a Time,” and “Of All Things, Seen and Unseen,” to be published online in Mindflights and Residential Aliens.
The September Scoreboard:
13 Sep: 58-day rejection from Brain Harvest for “Bullies With Big Fat Heads”
14 Sep: 17-day acceptance from Residential Aliens for “Of All Things, Seen and Unseen”
28 Sep: Kinetic Novel version of “A Taste of Honey” posted for free download.
Still waiting on responses from Books for Monsters for “Come You Back to Mandalay,” Everyday Weirdness for “Flashback,” A Fly in Amber for“An Eternal, Unbroken Chain,” and Brain Harvest for “The Preserve”
