There’s stormy weather ahead as the CSFF Blog Tour reviews April’s selection, Blaggard’s Moon, by George Bryan Polivka. It’s a heapin’ helpin’ of grog-swilling, saber-rattling, teeth-missing, piratey goodness that opens with a lone figure marooned on a post in the middle of a lake filled with carnivorous fish.
If that doesn’t shiver your timbers, nothing will.
So, tighten up the mainsail and batten down the hatches as we set sail for a swashbuckling good time. Will Mister Polivka sail off into the sunset in triumph or walk the plank to Davy Jones’ Locker? Tune in tomorrow and find out.
