In honor of Independence Day, here’s a photo of one of the latest additions to the forces that guard our country and our way of life:
That’s my Darling Daughter there at center, taking the Uniformed Services Oath of Office as a member of the US Air Force Academy Class of 2016, promising to “…support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” I feel safer already, if a little lonelier…but more on that transition next time.
